Having a baby is life changing. It’s difficult to find the time to do everything when you are constantly caring for your little one. Working out is one of those things that can be easily forgotten in the midst of the beautiful chaos that comes with caring for a new baby. However, Working out at home is one of the things that will make you feel better and more capable of taking care of your baby.
I have found that these 4 tips helps me make sure that I can workout with my baby or without my baby at least 4 times a week
- Try to workout early or first thing in the morning preferably while family is sleeping so you won’t find excuses not to workout later in the day.
- Write down exactly what you are going to do before your workout so that you won’t ditch the workout. This also helps you feel more accomplished when you are finished.
- Schedule your baby to be with dad, a friend, or grand mom so that you can workout alone and possibly away from the house for an hour or so.
- Plan short, challenging, and to the point workouts so that you won’t feel overwhelmed and quit.
