Red White & Blue Sangria By The Glass

This is one of my summer favorites. Usually sangria recipes call for you to add sugar and syrup and vodka and a bunch of other not so great things that might sabotage your fitness goals. I created this tasty  Red, White, & Blue sangria because I wanted some wine (of course) and I wanted to enjoy a holiday cocktail without all of the calories.  This does the job.


Red White & Blue Sangria By the Glass

A summer cocktail that you can enjoy without the guilt.
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup white grapes (halved)
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 6-8 oz of white wine
  1. place a few (4-5 each) strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and white grapes at the bottom of your glas. Squeeze the fresh lemon juice over it.
  2. Carefully smush all of the fruth together until they blend well
  3. Fill your glass with chilled white wine and add the remainder (or a few more pieces) of the fruit to the glass.
  4. Add ice and enjoy or refrigerate for 5-10 minutes
  5. Drink up! don't forget to eat the fresh fruit afterwards.
You can put a few pieces of your fresh fruit in a blender and add it to the bottom of your glass before you smush it. You can prepare and drink this right away but it's even better if you let sit in the fridge over night before your social event.
