August is my favorite month of the year. Not only is it my BIRTHDAY (August 25th)  but it’s the month when I take a trip to somewhere new. A while ago, I made a vow to myself to travel to at least one new international  place each year. I haven’t graduated to traveling to several places per year  YET BUT, I have managed to use August as the month to travel to that one new place. It’s such a huge part of my happiness. If you know me well, you know that I preach living happy as much as I do nutrition and fitness, I believe they all tie in together to bring out a better you.

This month when you are completing the workouts on this calendar, I’d like for you to commit to the following

  1.  FOCUS ON WHAT YOU CAN DO: as long as you are challenging yourself and pushing yourself beyond what you are used to, don’t worry about the exercise you can’t do YET.
  2.  SET S.M.A.R.T. Goals each week  Makes sure you are working toward  a new goal EACH WEEK. If last week your goal was to walk a mile. Make your goal this week to walk half a mile and run the other half. Challenge yourself each week. Don’t Get Comfortable.
